Muscle relaxation

Act as a Botox alternative, smoothening deep expression wrinkles by reducing the subcutaneous cell contraction frequency of facial muscles

Skin protection

protection against oxidative stress by preventing the production of free radicals from exposome, thus protecting skin cells against DNA and membrane damage

Clinical Studies

[in-vivo] Probiotic at 0.05% significantly increases the total dermis density vs placebo after 2 months demonstrating a collagenous redensification
[in-vivo] Probiotic at 0.05% shows visible reduction of forehead wrinkles from the 1 st month of application and later after 2 months

[in-vitro] Probiotic at 0.125%: Collagen-I visualization in fibroblasts with L. crispatus

[in-vitro] Probiotic at 0.025% induces a quick and significant inhibition in subcutaneous contraction vs untreated from 2h, and cellular contraction achieves-91% after 24h

Important Notes:

To ensure the efficacy of probiotics in skincare, it’s essential to use anhydrous formulations, such as oil serums. Water-based formulations can compromise the viability of probiotic bacteria due to the presence of preservatives, which can kill the living organisms. Anhydrous formulations preserve the potency of probiotics, allowing them to thrive and deliver maximum benefits.

Safe: non-pathogenic, non-biofilm forming, non-toxin producer, no anti-biotic resistance, no

Niacinamide reduces the amount of melanin produced by cultured normal human melanocytes and in a 3D tanned epidermis model. The amount of melanin is reduced by 18%~22% in cultured melanocytes after 5 days incubation with niacinamide, a similar decrease to that observed in the presence of the positive control, 0.01% kojic acid, assayed in the same experiment.
Niacinamide reduced the endothelin-1 protein level expressed by cultured keratinocytes, in the presence or absence of UVB exposure. In the absence of UVB, endothelin-1 protein levels decreased by ~60% after incubation with 0.1% niacinamide, for 24 hours. Exposure of cultured cells to 30mJ/cm2 UVB caused endothelin-1 levels to increase, with levels dropping slightly below baseline in the presence of 0.1% niacinamide.
Niacinamide maintains the skin microbiota balance by selectively inhibiting C. acnes, and little to no effect on the other two commensal species present, S. epidermidis and S. hominis
